Investment Information

Your photo session will start with a phone or email consultation to determine the kind of portraits you are interested in. My goal is to learn about your family to establish what type of setting will work best for you. Sessions typically last about an hour or so. If your child's mood dictates that I work quickly, I can do that. If we need to take a little more time to get the right shots, no problem. Don't worry - if you need to change an outfit, nurse a baby or take the time to make him or her laugh, we will definitely make that happen!

To ensure classic portraits, I encourage you to keep the clothing choices clean and simple. For newborns and babies, bare skin is beautiful. Solid colors are best, plaids, stripes and other patterns can complicate the photos. For family portraits, clothes in the same color range are best. Black, white, khaki and blue jeans are good choices. Of course you are free to wear whatever you are comfortable in - these are just a few suggestions.

Sometimes a shoot will need to be rescheduled due to rain, snow or the sniffles. Please provide at least 24 hours notice whenever possible. Rescheduling will be a priority, but is subject to availability.

Creative Fees

Session Fee: $140
**Note - Session fee has changed for the upcoming year 2010.
Session fee, including photo CD is for a one/two hour photo shoot within Montgomery County. Portrait sessions out of the Montgomery County area require an additional $25.

I serve the greater Washington, DC area including Maryland and Northern Virginia.

Typically I shoot between 100 and 200 photographs per session, and within two weeks I will send you a link to your private gallery containing approximately 50 of the best shots. Once you approve the gallery your photo CD will be placed in the mail. You are then free to print anything you like -- You keep the rights to all your photographs. I reserve the right to use your photos for my online portfolio. You may also print photos and merchandise directly from my website.

The fee is due at the time of your session, payable by cash or personal check.
